YES finally... she is here!!!Introducing Esther Chew into our Chews family.

Her arrival are indeed a blessing and she had been helping us to level up our faith with Jesus.

Will try to put it down the entire incident as polite as possible as well as protecting all parties that are involved.

On the other hand, Happy New Year!!! Happy 2012!

As for Clement.. he is a caring big brother. He admire his sister, care for his sister, love his sister.

We as parents should also take into consideration of their feeling. Not forgeting their needs as toddler... as well as their inner little heart...

For me as daddy... I got to try my best to fulfill their needs as well as make sure I dont overly excert control over him. (got to remind myself that many times)

Counting Down

As many had known.... my future princess is on the way.... almost time for counting down for her arrival... looking back it was so fun counting down with my wife on the arrival of my prince... now same excitement holds but with Clement as well....

Clement had been a caring boy... he will have his time with his sister... and he is expecting her to be in the world to play with him.... he had allocated some toys for her to play with her, to share with her... at night he will have his conversation with his sister and morning will greet her too...

seeing Clement grown up had been a joyful journey... although the journey had been very exhausing but the end result was really fun... Many times he had resulted a monkey attitude but we know he is just trying to enjoy himself.. and being boy... his energy level are super high....

he know how to express clearly... every morning he will wake up and said "Papa Qi Lai" and he will crawl off the bed and walk to toilet door and said "Papa xiao pian" or to his book shelf and said "Papa read book" .... seeing his interest in reading books... as Papa... although how tired i am i will still wake up and go turn on the light for him.... did I mention it is 6am or earlier? Clement normal sleeping time is 8.30pm and he wakes up around 6am.... thats my life with Clement for the last 2 years... only when he was sick..(which very seldom) he wakes up 7am or 8am.

So...... new member coming up... my family gonna add 1 new member... will look forward for the new life... :) Some family trip at Belum Resort...

New Experience

It had been a long while...Clement had made a lot of progress in his life as well as in our lives...

From baby talk, now Clement can actually respond to questions... although there are limited understanding.. he still try to make you understand...

To name a few incident / experience... he know what he want.. he will tell you he want to read book than go bath.... he will tell you he want to play piana than sleeping... he want to play "moo moo" (iphone) than turning off the light and sleep... these are his way of running away from things that you ask him to do....

He also will tell others that mommy is upstairs sleeping or bathing... and sometimes he will said: "Aiya, mommy forgot to bring milk out"... or "oh dear....." and sometimes he really so funny that he will have his own response on certain shocking incident... like thunder he will suddenly stay still and have his mouth "O" and say oooh... thunder.... and when he hear the wave roaring... he will do the same action....

this boy also loves stories... Noah's Ark... David and Goliath... Daniel and the Lion's den..... Samuel.... he would ask for those stories before he went to sleep... the worst.. ask you to repeat it! sometimes he also will continue the stories before you said it... he also like to dance to music! when the mickey mouse clubhouse song being played, he will start to dance... also hotdog dance! he will make the movement like clap clap, finger snaps...

Clement also very loving boy.. he would hugs on mummy tummy to sayang "mei mei" and also to blow air on the tummy surface to make noise to "play" with mei mei.... he also will greet "good morning" with the mei mei.. :) he also will greet all his animals sticker good morning and the fish inside the aquarium :) he also like to feed his horse and his cow every morning right after he fed the gold fish.. and hugs them :)

he is also a good helper as well as reminder.. take example he remind us we forgot to bring the tiffin carrier out and he shouted 爸爸忘记 and wave the tiffin carrier at us... there were also this incident that I told him to behave as grandma's arm was injured, he took the chance when grandma feeding him to massage grandma arm....

He also bath himself... and bursh his own teeth...best part he will also bath his ducks and brush their teeth! every morning when he is inside the toilet he will went over to the ducks and pick them up... then once I applied body shampoo to him, he will took some and rub it onto the ducks body! then when I wash him off, same, he will pick up the small cup and pour water over his ducks... interesting right?

There are many more things that I want to put it down... (many of those are in my phones but recently seem cant post through the phone, not sure why)

Clement had grow up very fast.... he understand alot of our conversation and a little helping hand at home....

It had been quite interesting playing with him recently and he do RUN...and FAST!....

When you ask how to kick football... he will show u how Rooney lift up his leg to intercept the ball...(he saw him on newspaper doing that )

He is still very attached to animals... Love all the animals... he know Cow...Horse...Cat...Dog....Frog...Duck...Chicken....Goat...Sheep...Dolphine...Elephant...Hippo... Crocodile..Wombat..Kangaroo... Eagle..Butterfly...Ladybugs... Girraffe... Panda Bear...Brown Bear.. Whale..Sea Horse...Crab... Tiger... Lion... Pig... Snake... Camel... Monkey... Goose... Raindeer... Deer.... Bird (Pigeon) ...General Fish :) and many many more that i cant recall....

he also getting cheeky... and u can see from the look of his face when he got the cheeky ideas up there....

as he is turning 2... its also another stage of my life to hv new tricks to handle him... :)

Sarawak state election just wrap up... Seem like the ruling party still holding a strong majority... Is that a sign of the current ruling govt will still take place in up coming general election? Or we are seeing a change in new govt? All depend on the people... Hope there r no money politic in coming election. And we will see the real color. :) will Malaysia still have hope? Or it is going to rot ?
Penang had been seeing change since 2008... 3 yrs past.. We see alot of changes in our life. Lots of good idea came out from the Penang govt.... Just if the federal react as the same... Malaysia will be alot better.

I'm observing the neighbor country general election as well... They hv alot of new faces as their line up... If they got elected.. They going to be the new blood that pass down from the experienced ppl :)

it had been a while since i update here....had been quite busy... who are not busy right? ;) ok.... got to spend more time blogging about everything under the sun....

so.. life had been roller coaster... and work too....

but i did took some of the time off to get some nice pictures....

I also did went to Tarbush to eat... Apparently the food was good.. and reasonable priced. for those food lover should go check it out.

Progress as a father

Ah... It had been a great journey of 16months :) it was really fun and sometime suffering Hahah :) I guess I just need to have enough mental and physical strength to overcome all the curve ball that life throw at me :)

Btw I'm not old! Although I look like one and my body might behave like one... I guess I should restart my body building to make sure I'm prepare for upcoming more challenge that his young boy going to required from me.... I need to catch up :)
He had been running hopping skipping and crawling... Did I mention climbing?... He done those and more is coming!

Again work and ministry had been packed as well as family time. I do hope I have some time for my own hobby as well :)

Oh yeah... Clement had a pet.... Which I guess he got it from me too.... ;) he like the pet and get excited playing with it too! I will introduce his pet once I got more of the photos :)

Here u go this young boy getting ready for swimming. He is a good swimmer too :) after so long didn't brought him to swim and once he is in the water he can kick and it lead to the direction he wanted. Not bad right?

Funny things that he do

As the child progress... Extra energy are needed to make sure he is safe. Sometimes when he walk with something in his hand hr never look at where he is going. He is so focus on the item in his hand that not know he is going to trip on something...
Few months ago, he is able to crawl down the bed and walk to the door.. Now he will use the same skill to access to those place that he need to reach which hv a slight distance gap. U will see him squat down, turn sideways, then drop his right leg until his feet touches the base then slowly slide himself down...

Besides that he is able to respond when u ask him some question... Example when I was traveling... U ask where is papa... He will tell u I'm on the plane by showing you airplane with sound...

A place where previously I love to go around 10 yrs ago... It's international House Of Pancake. A place that sell all kinds of addson with buttermilk pancakes Another reason why I love it because they open 24hrs. I can eat whenever I'm hungry. I wonder if Malaysia would be able to franchise them and still make profit. Look... Pancake Malaysian style r roti cannai... This might not able to address well what the Malaysian would want.

Love those pancakes n breakfast... Really miss the food!

Sitting here surrounded with kids it make me really see things from other perspective. Kids r really fun. They have their own ways of interpreting things happening around them. They are cheeky yet lovable. Here I have all the boys playing! Yelling as well and baby talking just like Clement did at home. Seem like kids behave about the same. Some really cute as they holding the care giver hands walking up and down holding onto their milk bottle.. Some being carried around. I guess to avoid them from getting bored. This long 15 hrs flight make me see things that I don't really see it in my daily life. Clement had been growing up well, calling papa... Dee.... when he see me... I guess I'm going to enjoy every bit of the 15 hrs flight...
Sitting beside me was HBS graduate... Working now as a consultant... In my front was a single child family his son should be 2 yrs n 3 months sitting on his own seat where his dad and mom next to him each side. At my back another family where the boy is bubbling all Clement had said before :) I believe it's more on babytalk :)
A good chance now for me to observe how to handle a 15 hrs flight with infant/toddle :)

Cathay flight wasn't that bad... :)
The kids were watching Disney channel so quiet and entertaining ... And some already sleeping... They r just cute :) using their small palm holding on the plastic Cathay pacific cup sipping the water ... With the light being dim down they are ready to sleep any minor turbulence didn't really scare them and they find it fun and giggling abt it when the plane start to shake...

Some of the air stewards maybe not married or I would day they do not understand being a parents... Some kids just need to be comfort. Of course there are rules and it's for the child safety but to calm them down is not asking them to buckle up and sit there. And this steward was asking the parents to buckle up their baby hahaha... But it seem their supervisor understand that and ask if they want a baby seatbelt so the baby can be stripe in while the mom hugging him. Come on, he is just over 2 yrs old but still need comfort right, doesn't mean 2 yrs old can sit on his own and cannot br hug by the parents during turbulence. Proper safety need to be in place, that I understand, I believe airline did thought about this before :)

So far end of my first 15 hrs flight. Tiring... Didn't sleep much as the chair seem to act differently... How I wish they upgrade me to business class where proper flat sleeping position can be done.

New year

I had been super bz since December. Not that I'm free now.. But since I didn't bring out my laptop with me today... And during this free slot I use it to blog :)

Life had level up the bz schedule... Attending class.. Assignments...work... Business travels... All these had been taking up more of the 24 hrs a day... Work had more issues these days... More task to concur... More number to meet..
My last day of the year I spend it at church together with my wife and Clement... Clement had alot of fun there... Just that the rooms are more occupied and he can't get his feeding and did cry for a while.

He had grow up well... And I guess this yr he gonna enjoy more :) today is his 14 months... He is sleeping soundly beside me. I'm waiting for him to appear in a wedding dinner :)

So this new year it should be better than 2010... 2011 will be more fun... More things to do... And make it a habit of setting and achieving more childhood dreams :)
Alot of setup structure had been ready in 2010... Testing should be ok... Now is the execution...

Many times I often give myself a space to reflect back WHAT IF... I'm not sure about you all, sometimes I'm a bit scared if I didn't took the path I'm taking now...

Also there r times where I look at those that having flying colors as well as at their peak so did I took the wrong path? I do amaze if their way of living and I look at it and what if I'm in their shoes... :)

It's a fun process and a great adventure :) try it out... Got to caution u as some ppl might end up envy of things that they can't get.. And might end up tangle urself into self destruction...

Life don't compare.. We live our life the way we did.. That makes u who u r and what u r... The purpose of life ... If we continue to compare this world is not fair... Nothing is fair if u start to compare as we only see what we see and we don't live double or triple life that we hv same brain or same judgement...

So it's you that matter :) God love everyone and He had given you a choice that u made each n everyday. Choice that made we all special from others. U matter alot to Him and no matter what happen, He still love you.

On the last 5 days to new year, I wish everyone here had a blessed Christmas... And a wonderful new year ahead. Use the remaining days of 2010 to reflect what had gone well and what not. Look forward to2011 and set what do you want to achieve in 2011. May it be self improvement, taking up class, go for special function, start up new venture, have more savings, visit friends, go holiday, quit smoking, or just a plain plan of start learning new dishes :) think about it and it's a choice you made there n then that shape you.

Civilized Kids are Happier Kids
Do you sometimes feel that the social graces that you and I were taught to value are disappearing?
Salespeople are often rude, or what is worse, apathetic. Teenagers often don't look at you when they speak and they mumble incomprehensible answers when they do. Little children are less and less welcome in restaurants and stores, but when you see how badly behaved some little kids are you can understand why. We are on the verge of creating an anti-kid society, thanks to a whole generation that has paid little or no attention to kids' social growth.
There are many courses of action for mothers who understand the importance of social growth. Here are some examples:

1) Teach your child how to greet a friend or acquaintance. It takes brief but frequent practice at home to elevate the cursory "Hi" to such greetings as "Good Morning" or "Good Evening."

2) Allow your child to rehearse greeting others at home. Pretend you are grandmother, teacher or neighbor, and allow them to rehearse speaking loudly enough to be heard and looking directly at you. Simple rehearsal makes this comfortable and easy for any child to do.

3) Demonstrate to your child how not to greet someone. Try whispering while frowning and looking at the floor to show your child the effect of such a greeting. He'll get the point right away. Then rehearse the proper greeting once more.

4) Create simple scripts for your child to follow when answering the phone or the front door. When others phone your home, it will be such a delight to hear your child say, for example, "Good afternoon. This is the Anderson residence. May I help you?" Equally pleasant is the gracious three-year-old who greets guests at the door with "Good evening. Welcome to our home. Please come in." Kids have a way of adding just the right touch of warmth and elegance.

5) When your child is attending a formal occasion such as a wedding, concert or party, create for your child a homemade book on what may occur during the course of the function so he knows what to expect. Telling your child what kind of conduct is appropriate at a function will help prepare him for it and make the experience go much more smoothly.

A social growth program deserves the same planning and organization that one would devote to intellectual and social growth. As with so many areas of development, social maturity does not need to happen by accident, but rather in a purposeful and joyous fashion.
The world has already given us the "Me Generation." Now we are rolling up our sleeves and getting to work on the "How-May-I-Help-You Generation." We don't have a moment to lose.

Ah... Time files... December is here and it had always a special month to me.

I always love December, maybe due to holidays as well as it's year end.. Alot of events going on and alot of special movie ( in old days tv2 used to replay alot of movies continuous)

Beside those I guess it's the weather... December usually wet n breezy.. Morning sun not too strong with dew that freshen up a person... The cool breeze feel like this is where life got to be at.. Enjoying every moment... Seeing children running around in the neighborhood due school holiday... And it's another "music" where the kids laughter symphony in the background..
Brid chipping away and swallow flying pass the balcony.

I just love the peace at that moment seeing my child growing up day after day...

It's already December and another few days it's going to step into 2011... A new year in waiting.. A new page of the story waiting to be review...what had 2011 install for us? Will it be as exciting as 2010? Or will 2011 bring in a breakthrough and surpass the growth of 2010... Or will 2011 be a fruitful year with less of the natural disaster and more of world loving ppl?

Let's just pray that it will be a better year ahead with most of the positive news going to reveal
:) just too bad Malaysia don't snow... I miss white Christmas

Life Conference

We attended life conference today and thank God that we did make it there. Original got other plans but due to arrangement we did not go and we both went to the life conference.

Some of the things really open up my mind and had new revelation to me... Will share more when life conference finish Tmr...

Basically we attended a few selected session. Mostly about parenting... And in one of the session was abt the transition bring up children... And some really good points by Michael Chong and sharing from the rest of them such as ppl like Melvyn Ong, Poh Teong, Timothy, and Alan Ooi.

Good to be in a place where their past experience are able to share across.

Happy 1 yr old

Today mark the day or him completing his 1st yr.... Time really flies. Everything seem happen yesterday when he still being hold and hugs now he had grown strong and noisy :)

He had out grown his little bathtub and he still use it :) he had outgrown alot of his bb suit which were pass down from friends as well as sisters

He had always smiling and now with cheeky face when he got some tricks in mind :) I'm glad that I'm at his side for most of the time in his growing up period. A good trade off for the past 365 days :)

Although we didn't throw him a party but we did gave him a cake. Mommy had bake a cheese cake and some banana muffins. Decorate by some Milo jelly :) a small party set for him with birthday hat and some Mickey mouse sets ;)

His Aunty flew in from Singapore just to see him blow his first candle. And my sisters and her children all were there to celebrate with him.

14/11/2010 :) will be counting more to come.

Growing up of a boy

Looking back it's almost 1 yr I got my phone yay!!! Hahah and still working fine and still kicking! This means Apple did a good job! And so far only iPhone 4 came out after a year that I purchased. Compared to other brand like Nokia or Sony, it might had more different new model along 1 yr time frame. Good job to Steve Job!

One of the many things that I love abt my phone was the flexibility and convenient of blogging with my phone... Which this post I am doing it now :)

I look through all my past photos that I had captured here on the phone I can immediately load it to my post easy right? No need to transfer to computer and post it :) so here what I'm going to do is to walk u through a journey of Clement's picture in my phone. KL trip

I had a chance to take some time off just to accompany my son....

and it was a nice moment to spend time with Clement as we both able to communicate with each other and also to experience taking care of him as a full time dad...(and i really thank God for mom)

we stayed in Eastin Hotel at the 17th floor... and they actually gave us a far end corner unit... not bad :)

we also have a babycot for Clement... :) of course the room big enough for all of us including his baby cot and space for him to move around.

it was a nice trip there... he got to experience first time in Taxi.... and bus trip... and also we went shopping at The curve... and also to Ikea, One Utama and Pavilion...

10 long months plus....

my boy is progressing fast.... seem like yesterday I still hold him in my arm carrying him around while he sleep.... he had grown heavier and longer now... and it is a weight lifting exercise these days carrying him around....

for the record... I did lost weight (abt 5-8kgs) .... not bad right? better than going to sliming program hahah :)

recently he got continous diarrhea which worries us.... but to him.. he is still the bubbly cheerful kid and for that we are kind of glad.... just need to continue to pray that he will recover fully from it... of course we did bring him for checkup but seem he need to recover from it himself...

Burger King in Penang

It had been long wait since Burger King being introduce in Malaysia. All the while only available in southern part of Malaysia starting from Ipoh to Johor but not in Penang! Finally it's here.

As usual following the crowd, we went to try out the new opening restaurant. Given and knowing they can't cope with the crowd it is as usual long queue of waiting at the ordering counter. So you can imagine that in a fast food restaurant queuing :)

The restaurant is located in a very secluded place.. Not along a heavy traffic road or inside a mall that many had expected when they start posting for hiring restaurant managers in past few months... Maybe it's in their plan but for now( yeah now) it is kind of a place where no one knows :) but given the view as well as the first tenant of the roll of shoplots this place might turn into a happening place when pack with the rest of the F&B outlet.

The air condition in the restaurant r super cold! One might need a sweater to go with the meal. Looking around the crowd was all walks of ppl got factory worker, businessman, chef, students, sitting and waiting for the final food to be order n deliver to them ( serve by their friends). A count seem like 4 tables (groups) having their food while 8 others are still waiting.

I guess they r short of staff or there are no sign of self cleaning :) all the customer left their table just like that after their meals and next ppl had to do some self cleaning to get to sit :)

Some guest seem to know the style and clean up the place after they had their meals but some others just walk out.
Maybe there r limited chili/tomatoes sauce that trigger some customers to take before they are gone mentality ;).

Interestingly the renovation still continue but they already start their business... So on and off u will hear drilling sound from the wall and also the contractor will bring the ladder in and out while u are having your meal.
20mins past.... I'm still waiting :) ....

I guess this is what "Have It Your Way" :)

After 30 mins no sign of their signature burger... Worst, they r saying they run out of whopper ... I wonder is it bad planning or they don't expect the crowd to be that huge?

Overall I will not go there for the time being until 3 months later when they had better service and of course having a much skilled worker.
Disappointed for no Whopper :(

At Malacca Zoo

It had been a while since his last visit to Malacca. The last round happen when he was 3 months old. Now he already 9months+... Nothing much change beside new mall alot of new houses and of course we saw a new solar valley there.

Since recently he got exposed with alot of animal we decided to bring him to Malacca Zoo. The entrance fee RM7 per adult. Not that expensive. The animals inside seem to be ok. I would say consider good. All the MUST have animals seem to have in there :) it's a good way as Clement have his few favorite animals :)

The zoo also have a section on zoology that quite informative for the kids or adult as well. Just that u need to take off ur shoes to enter :)

Few "constructive" points of Malacca Zoo are
1) limited or no stroller path (even some path in the zoo hv tree grown in the middle of the way) so that means if you are on wheel chair, better switch to crutches

2) alot of mosquito. Erm I hope they are not Aedes as they are black n white stripes on their legs and ALOT of them. In a way ask u to walk more than stand there look.

3) animals view glass are not well clean( the window for animal viewing most of the time were blurry)

4) the tiger are quite skinny :) maybe my expectation r a bit high on the tiger :) but they do have 5 tiger there.

But overall I would say they are not bad. I heard from the locals that it is one of the best zoo in Malaysia. Erm... hey Malaysia have a few zoo only right? :)

And it's fun and cooling in the zoo not that hot and I would say it hv the green around it. They also hv animal exhibition(show) but we didn't sit in to save some time. :)

I'm a Big Boy....

He starts to understand many words that we said... (sometimes it shock us when how he react)

he also able to "inform" when he want to wee wee....(sometime the adult dont know what he want)

he start to crawl very fast and walk with support....

he still bite his books and his toys and of course... whoever carry him :)

Growing Up fast

After a hetic week where mummy was away for a full week.... Clement and I had a really challenging time together... clement was missing mummy a whole good time while i'm trying to distract him from the missing mummy thought ....

Clement was a bit sad and everytime he cried, he would start with maaa..maaa.... and I got to be there to comfort him (a subtitue) he knows mummy not around and everytime when asked.. where is mummy.. he would point to mummy's picture and start to look around the room...another thing is that mummy is his main source of food (back then) and for the entire 5 days he was on the backup supply.

To make things worst.... he was on fever for the first 4 days when mummy not around. I am on a packed schedule and cant really attend to him... finally I took a half day off on Tuesday to bring him to visit dr. Thanks to all the supportive US colleague and also Penang colleague that able to handle during that time... (I'm suppose to be the main person in the meeting )

So after that, I also fall sick and MC for 2 days... which is good that I can have full days with Clement and take care of him on Thursday and Friday. On Thursday... Clement's fever subside..and got red dots (patches) on his body... dr said it was Roseala.... and not denggi....

Thank God.

My son is growing up fast... below are some of his interesting crawling session :) due to worldcup fever... he is crawling around chasing the ball and throwing it :)

Most of the time in my trip here... I ate very casually... from roadside ..vending machine....and also lunch box.... once a while got the chance to eat with HS and SC... which are not bad experience.... I guess I did manage to capture some of the nice food here....

First Fathers Day

Ok... Officially I got to celebrate my first fathers day. It was not a bad experience but the years ahead are more chanllenging.

My son had been waking up at night due to teething and becoz of that I got to be up to make sure he dun be out of sight. So sleepless night officially started. I guess I will need alot of old town or nescafe to accompany me for the next few months :)

So my day was quite tired to start with. But I do get a nice gift from PCC as every year they do provide the gift during these special events. This yr I got a waist pouch... I guess alot of father r using it to carry alot of things, the best way is to provide them with a pouch and all in one carrying pouch :)

Then after the service we went to Chicago Ribs... Hmmm my first time there. The food there was good.. I would say there r room for improvement. Service slight slow but I heard it had improve. Enviroment ok :) drinks good... Price not bad :)

my son also did enjoy his meal there. He sit on their bb chair too :)

I guess this was his real first time watching tv ( world cup)

After the nice lunch, we went for a nice competition. Originally I wasn't keen in letting Clement to take part... But after alot of tough push from my beloved wife, he is in. Although he was the youngest among the rest he did well in the competition :) step by step very focus and determine. He complete the race :) it was fun for him, the most important thing was the experience not abt winning ;) he did pretty well before the crowd as cheerful as he is he just complete it :) well done!

Then come dinner. Since we all were tired and we decided to hv pack home food. Went to a "Chu char" to hv some dish and bring back to celebrate with my dad as well.

A wonderful and enjoyable fathers day. Experience = priceless.

First pair of tooth

We had been wondering when will his first set of central incisor pop out... He had been playing with his gum alot recently as maybe due to the gum itchyness and once a while he does on strike on milk.
Also recently he will wake up in the middle of the night and give u his cutest smile that melt ur heart and give up sleeping n accompany him for a while.
So when will the sleepless night will stop? Or I should say will he will back to his normal routine that sleep through till 5 or 6 am?

So... Finally we feel or saw his tiny teeth pop out!!! The even funny thing is he uses his lower lip to play with those teeth creating a very cheeky face look! Now he can be dangerous when he bite! :)

Will see how he move on. He had his own way of handling. He knows what he want :) and always able to make his voice heard :) will continue to monitor his small teeth to grow bigger then only can hv some nice picture. Oh yeah, he dun allow ppl to touch his lips to open up his lips.

Progress...

As time past..he had grow up well... Now he is able to sit and play his own toy.. And on and off he still fall sideways but a good progress. Also he able from sitting position turn into a crawling position.
As for crawling, still on the caterpiler crawl :) but he is able to reach his destination and grab his toy :) and very fast too :)

Over the long weekend we brought him to botanical garden... A place he love alot. Fresh air... Alot of green... People and monkeys... This round he able to go for the longer path and enjoy it.

Bz days

Mid of the years usually a bz month for me... As alot of preparation for next year plans as well as measured on the first half and how we will perform on the 2nd half. Will the business goes well or bad... Seeing how the global economy as well as market trend and with the info analyzed them and do some risk calculation (of course) and propose some plans. Simple right? WRONG!!! It is way different! Info n data of future are not as simple as it gets... We don't hold a crystal ball an look into it... And as engineer background, we need fact data...
I remember I read somewhere that, marketing is an art. There are no right or wrong... It is the art of doing it now and base on the plans that are executed, the result tha had been measured that achiving it or failing it. Of course, failing now does now mean it will always fail.. As time pass, it might turn around and make alot of the profit out of it. That's why, marketing is an art :)

I had been in this field for some time. I did learn alot especially creating new platform and getting it into the market. Of course there r ups n downs in things tha we do for our living, which is why we got our brain to think through how we can overcome and bring ourselves to next level.

Coob coffee Club Penang

I always wanted to try out the interesting filter of the coffee that had been around in the Market. Today seem I got the chance to try it out at Coob Coffee Club at Komtar Walk.

The enviroment was not that bad given situated at komtar walk... Nice background music with a nice person that served... I guess she is the lady boss of the shop. Clean table Japanese style service ( I guess due to the Japanese lady boss)

I ordered sumiyaki which cost me rm7.90 no tax. The coffee was prepared with very interesting way. Water was boiled from the bottom and the vapor went up through the coffee powder and filter through d bean and once d bottom water complete, the coffee will drip back down and wahla, the coffee is ready :) smell nice

Hmm the coffee taste quite good :) I would rate it for good base on the taste and price.
Other than the price, their other coffee was not bad as well.

There u go.... :) nice coffee during nice afternoon :) with nice cooling place for a cup of coffee :)

Oh yeah they do hv promotion for RM8.90 for a cup of coffee and a slice of cake :)

6th months

Ah! We are half way through for the first year...ever since u were borned, every single day was a blessing and of couse a wonderful joy that u had given to us.

Seeing you growing day by day and learning new things as well as seeing u achieve your milestone make us really glad that you are trying ur best and living up to the name we had placed for u.

You did shocked us but we thank God that His hand was upon you and His protection was always there throughout the time. You had cheer the people around you and bring joy to them.

Once awhile you did let ppl around u know that what u want sometime they just couldn't understand u and u gave them a very direct NO to them :) I like the way you express yourself and love the funny habits u had adopt :)

You had bring so much fun/joy for me and mummy and changed the way of how we view parenting. The journey is just begining and we glad that you had enjoyed that far and we r looking forward for more to come and to learn together with u.

You had grow up at super fast speed and ur kicks r getting stronger each day. I hope my tummy can still handle ur kick or
I got to train up my 6 pack to make sure no injuries to myself :) sooner u will be having ur first solid and ur little tooth will be coming out. Those are the next few challenges that we will go through it together.

Oh ya, ur hair had grown alot! And we were thinking if we want to hv a beckham's hairstyle :) but we sort of worry u might be too hot having long hair :)

I know... I'm a person that glued to TV... TV play a major role in my life while growing up.
I live and learn alot from TV.. ever since the time I can remember, most of the show/ cartoon / comedy / documentary I will remember .. unless they are soooooo boring that got thrown behind my brain.. which I totally forgot what I had watched.

Recently my brother-in law (a Dr to be....) send me this article from Medical News... It was about the study of Early Exposure to TV on kids that was done by a few universities..such as University of Michigan, Universite de Montreal, and Sainte- Justine University Hospital Research Center. The goal of the study was to determine the impact of TV exposure at age 2 on future academic success, lifestyle choices and general well being among children.

Here are a bit of the summaries that I learn from the article. They found that every additional hour of TV exposure among toddlers corresponded to a future decrease in classroom engagement and success at math, increased vicimization by classmate, have a more sedentary lifestyle, higher consumption of junk food and higher body mass index!

So... below are adapted from the article statistic
1) 7% decrease in classroom engagement
2) 6% decrease in math achievement (with no harmful effects on later reading)
3) 10% increase in victimization by classmate (peer rejection, bing teased, assaulted or insulted by other students)
4) 13% decrease in weekend physical activity
5) 9% decrease in general physical activity
6) 0% higher consumption of soft drinks
7) 10% peak in snacks intake
8) 5% increase in BMI

It was an interesting moment that it crosses our path. We saw 2 little kitten at the road side. I guess they were checking out the wonderful world where to them r still full of wonderful colors. And as curious as a cat, they jump over to the street and running underneath a stoped vechicle. We were like Oh No! They going to get crushed!!! And since we r waiting at the trafficlight, we still checking if the kitten came out of there. AND, a motorbike rider stop at the middle of the road, bend down and grab the kitten and he walked few steps away from his motorbike and leave the kittens back to the road side.
The kittens were so cute that they followed that guy back to his bike! And that kind man got off the bike and pick them up and go further to make sure they dun follow him.., good move but unfortunately it doesn't work :) the 2 still follow him and tagging on him. In the end, he pick both of them up and ride off :) there they go :) guess they found themselves a new owner :) in less than 2 mins :) I wonder how their life will change... And I wonder if mummy cat will be so sad of her missing kitten.... Anyways it's still better than end up under the car's tyre. :)

Everyday in our life we tend to rush throught it with our routine job, our schedule are pack with events and we tend to just use the day like that. Over and over again, day by day, week by week. Did we ever realized that time had pass by us so fast that we don't really grab hold of it?

The people around us are doing the same as well, rushing through their days. So did we ever pulse a moment and slow our pace down to enjoy every second that pass by?

Things like a nice classical music playing through ur home stereo, a cup of fresh brew coffee in ur hand and u are sitting on a rocking chair enjoying the scenery infront of your house. Or watching the kids playing in the field or observing the kids playing in the park. Isn't life is beautiful?

Capturing them into our memories and freeze the moment and keep it. They will be ur treasure before all things fade away...

Life can be quite short, but are you ready? Are you ready when u met with Jesus, what will He said to u? Will it be well done my faithful servant, or will He said I don't know you?

5th Months...

It had been a great 5 months.... we had lots of fun...

we had alot of talking

we had alot of weight lifting

we had alot of sightseeing

we had alot of swimming together

we had alot of photoshooting and you are my model

we had alot of fliping

we had alot of reading together (most of the time you were blabing while we guess you are telling the stories)

we had alot of exercise like up and stand up

We went for a long journey to Malacca for chinese new year and you did behave very well in the car.We also went for a vacation up at Cameron Highland and you enjoyed the weather there

The journey so far are fun and exciting...looking forward for more and more exciting journey with you.

A trip out

Over the Easter weekend, we had the chance to relax and enjoy a get away to Cameron Highlands. As the weekend ago we are suppose to join the cell group there but due to being a good helper to the family we postpone the trip.

This round since my mom never been there, we brought her along and let her enjoy the weather there. Cameron this time in the year suppose to be dry and warm, but looks like global warming and climate change had impact Cameron as well. It was COLD and wet.... According to Mr Ng, a local farmer, it is odd weather.

For the baby, it is his first time there officially :) perviously he is still in the tummy when we visited Cameron Highland during the babymoon trip:). This round he was quite excited about the place. He like the weather, the only thing that he complaint was right after his bath, he was freezing cold and he did scream to the top of his lung :D

We all visited the wonderful Boh tea plantation, seeing and smelling the tea leaf, we visited catus farm and some nice flower shop, mom did found her wonderful strawberry jam that she had since her childhood time ( so it was pure strawberry jam back then) we did tour around Brinchiang, Tanah Rata, Kea Farm area too. We also had a full organic charcoal steamboat! And the soup u will not cause u thirsty after u drank it. We tried wonderful scone and we also rush through the pasar malam due to the weather gonna start pouring.

It was a short and sweet trip. A good exploration/exposure trip for my mom as I believe next time she would go there for a longer trip and hopefully my dad will come along( it's hard to get my dad to go anywhere)

Here are some of d pic in my phone that I can upload here. Oh, we stay in d farm( technically ) :) it was a fun experience to stay there. They do provide clean bedsheet and hot water. Their rooms hv attached bathroom too. Of course with water heater. Will load more from my camera.

It's tonight!!! Count down to earth hour! Let's make the earth a better place to be for the next generation. Not just by 1 hr of switching off but making a stand that u will consume d electricity wisely and when not using will switch off.
Also to be more eco friendly:) just a simple change on the lifestyle. Change to energy saving bulb, try to use cold water to do ur laundry, use recycleable shopping beg, plan your trip, have a small herbal garden or a small vegitable garden, plant a tree whenever u can do it. And so on....

We do our part as human that God had entrust us the earth with.
Vote for Earth :)

Earth Hour 2010

As the days count down to Earth Hour 2010 which will be hapenning this Saturday 27th March 2010... It's time for us to reflect what we can do more for our earth.
Remember to turn OFF your lights for 1 hr starting 8.30pm. This will help to cut down our world power consumption and if we do our part to make it a stand to save energy, the world can be a better place for our next generation to live in.
Of course by turning off the lights for 1 hour cannot save the earth, but we make a stand n let our action been seen by others. The awareness are needed to people around us to make sure they know how to save energy.
So do lock ur house and off the lights, dun shut down everything as some of the power u still need to run ur security system :)

The path that had to go through

As time pass, he had grow up very fast.. Looking at his growth chart, he had been absorbing well on mummy's milk. His skill had been improving and now he turn n sleep on his own. He also eagerly want to sit up to look at the surrounding. Times that he don't get to sit up, he will turn and lift up his head to see from his own world.
He had learn that he got a loud voice that can shot to get attention but often those shout are to call daddy or mummy to play wit him. He had learn to make his need know and of course to guide u to what he want. He had bring alot of joy and happiness to the family and he smile and laugh when he is happy. He also a cheerful baby that give out his loving smile to ppl around him.
We always worry that he might suffocate himself when he turn but he prove us wrong when he turn n sleep soundly. There r more worries that we had on many things that related to him and as new parent it is normal to react that way :)
Having him really bring alot of joy to me, although the journey so far had been tiring but looking at him day by day growing up and watching him smile, laugh, play and sleep really worth all the works u had put in.

The journey so far

We had past one quarter since he came into our life. The journey was quite interesting and also rewarding. One can be full of joy to see him respond to u, he also can bring down your world by his scream for things that he want (eg: milk and sleep). He love to explore new things, he love to play, he love to be in d bathtub swimming( I'm wondering what is his reaction when he go to the real baby pool) he is a nature person, he love to listen to d bird chip and the sound of the water put an smile on his face. He also love exercise and also he love to meet people. Up to now, he never fail to give a smile to people that he met. Unless he is in his sleep mode or low energy. But sometimes event he is cranky and wanted to sleep, he still being very polite to give them a smile and then protest that he want to sleep.
Sometimes adult might take his politeness for granted but many times they understand :) as of for me, he is just as wonderful. I'm glad that he did alot of his first action with me. And he is funny in some sense as he still learning and cheeky sometimes when he try the short cut way. There are also time that he just being blur maybe due to lack of info to execute the task. By watching him grow, it reflect how wonderful God had made human. Each n every stage of development were carefully arranged.
My son grow up so fast that capturing every moment of his life really require a few terabytes hardisk :) ever since he was a embryo, we had been recording his activity and now he had also of wonderful pictures too. Will be sharing some them later. It's a fun and exciting journey. Words can't really able to tell how much I'm experiencing but by looking at him really take away all my stress as well as worries.

Turn turn turn

As the days pass by my bb continue to grow and learning new skills. At about 3.5months he acquired the flip skill. Now he could turn one side to his tummy and stay there for a while.

We found this out on one of the night where both of us were sleeping and then this bb was trying out his new skill. He took a flip and turn to his tummy n stay there. I believe he did want to turn back to his original position but failed. So in the end he just stay in that position and scream for help. Cute isn't it? I was so blur at that time that I didn't event try to capture by video or photos. Anyway he was having fun. When we "rescue" him, he was so excited. And start to tell us his experience by baby talking to us. Both me n my wife was so tired that we just smile n give his butt some pat and we continue to doze off. Soon enough he too felt tired after the important movement he too fell asleep.

Interesting experiences

Being a new father I had learn alot of new skill. I never know that I can be this far 2 yrs ago and I never know it was this rewarding to have a wonderful kid.

My baby had bring alot of joy to both my family and my wife's family. I thank God for nice journey throughout the trip from Penang and Melaka. Also thanks Ms. Chong for the wonderful besinet that accompany baby when he need to lie down straight. It really help alot on releasing the pressure of a cranky baby in the car :)

We work up early on the 3rd day of cny. Around 5.30 to start to prepare. Baby suppose to be on his usual routine poo then shower, because we want to make sure he can continue to sleep we only let him poo then we wipe him and change to a more comfy clothing. By the time we get everything ready, it's already 7.30.

After that, I made a final check on the car and ready for our long journey. We did pack almost everything for the baby. From his pillow, his fav toys(we called his friends) his diapers, his bathing soap, to his bathtub and his potty. Although just 3 nights but we think he needs all those. Thank God that my tiny city can load in all these stuff together with 3 fella( including him) clothing, a stroller, a car seat and a basinet. We were thinking when he is older we might want to bring the play pen!! That's really a challenge :)

After loading all the things into the car we start our journey. Baby n mommy was enjoying the view and the ride. Starting baby was having fun and looking at the greens along the road. Later he felt sleepy and slept on mommy's arm and mommy put him onto his car seat and there he slept for 45 mins which leads to reaching Perak area. Then he wake up and start to talk to us. Must be asking why we r still outside as normally he will be awake at some place after he slept. :) and then as he blabbing around we stop by one of the petrol station to let him had a break and he does like to observer what other ppl is doing. Then after had his meal he sleep again.
As the car moved he like it. It feel like a rocker that rock him to sleep. So all the way he enjoyed it and he does sleep when. And by the time we reach kepong, baby was well awake. He had his fun time with the great grandpa and grandma. He does laugh and smile to them also give response to their action.

Over the last week was busy with work as well as some personal things that need my attention. Today we did expose little baby with a new thing music. As he grows we slowly expose him to different activities. Baby had develop his visual and audio capability. Of course his motor skill are developing as well.
In the event we put him infront of a keyboard and see his reaction. At first he just stare at the keyboard after a few try showing him that this machine / instrument does make funny noise and play a simple melody to him, he got excited and star to get involve.
First he would just play with right hand... Then it follow by just left hand to play with few notes... And after that he played with both hands and this careless daddy only manage to remember to capture his last action on video. He added with cooing while he play with both hands. I wonder is that his way of singing? Anyway enjoy :)

Our 2nd Anniversary

Time really flies. Already 730 days since we got married :) the memories still fresh in my mind. We had been through alot of ups and downs.
Along the 730 days we had a gift from God which was delivered to us abt 60 days ago. Life as couple had level up. I personally thank God for all the wonderful moments that we both had been through. The travels that we had. The honeymoon that we been to. Our first anniversary at a special location and also the experience of waiting for 40weeks and struggle through the standing on a full 4 hrs without rest... The anxiety that the last min to hear the first cry. All could not been done without God's hand upon us.
With little bb here in our life we r taking every single day another day of blessing. Another experience with him and a new horizon of the Father n us relationship.
Here I would like to thank people that had been encourage us, had been supporting us, had been helping us as well as people that just being there even when we r far away from the crowd. Thank you.
As of my dearest wife, thank you for the wonderful gift that u had given me in between our 730 days and also the sacrificies that you had made inorder to produce healthy supply for bb growth. And even words can't represent my gratfulness to you of taking the pain for delivering the bb :)
For our parents, thank u for being there and in our process of growing old together.

Happy 2nd anniversary :)

This year we did not go any special places as we would want to hv bb with us. We only had a simple nice dinner.

A long weekend which is a good time to catch up with backlog of video editing as well as photo editing.
Digital medial and social network had been so advance and many ppl had been involving to stay connect and to use the mass network to blast their marketing campiagn. I believe most ppl uses the social network to stay in touch with their friends. Even a grand mother also hv an account in facebool or Myspace. Some might hv multiple account. Our life had been evolve around the social networking. We did post our recent status, we put up picture sharing, we play online games such as restaurant city or mafia wars that involve most of ur friends that can help u out.
So some use those network to advertise since they already had alot of contacts and of course his daily update did send across the message that what he was doing and if u need any advise on that or u need their service u just post it at their wall simple. It also serve as notice board. Last time we used to use email to blast it out to our friends whenever we hv any event or promotion now with those network it spread like a wild fire. First ur friend will sees it, then their friend will sees it too. And it they re post or re tweet, it goes another few layers.
So I wonder in future we all will hv a digital id? Does that means the mark? Or what will lead to? What is life look like in another 10 yrs? U see what we do now our parents had no idea abt it when they r young. And having that now. What will change in the next 10 yrs when our children will face.... Interesting thought to ponder :)

Sleep time... yeah.. this had always going through my mind how much sleep time is enough for baby. So i had done some research through the web and I come out with very interesting guideline... of course it might not works for every baby in the world but it is just a guideline :)

Over the weekend we had a wonderful bonding time with Clement. He was behaving and also interacting with us. We did alot of new things with him. I learn from the book "How To Teach Your Child to Swim" and practise it on Clement. So on Saturday Clemen had his first experience in the "big pool" it was actually our bath tub :) instead of his own tub d small one we actually filled up our bath tub and I go in together with him. First he was a little tense in the water but after a while he like the experience of going into the big tub. No cry from Clement! Good job! So we will do it like once a week. When Clement in the water, he tend to kick or water threading so I keep his head above the water n his body can automatically float :) cool! A good 20 mins in the water and I call it a day as worried he might get too excited. During the full 15 mins our warm water continue to flow into the tub ao Clement r not cold in there. Will do that more often. :) next will be head going over the water to teach him holding his breath :) that will be next few weeks let him really enjoy d big tub first. Oh did I mention, he got his ducks with him too in the water!

After the swimming session, Clement had his language session. I was introducing him as Clement Chew xue Yi and I'm daddy. Then I point to him again saying xue Yi and me daddy. The 3rd time when I point him n said Xue yi, he followed with the sound xue yi!! I was sooooooo suprise!! And I wake my wife up to ask her to listen to it too.. She was so reluctant and didn't really believe that our son called his own name. Then I try again xue Yi....he responded! Her eye turned big and we tried the third time same. I quickly ask him to say daddy he keep his mouth shut!!! Hmmm ... Seem he know what to say :)
We had more experience with him as he grow up each n everyday. Thank God that this boy bring so much joy to the people around him.

Busy days

Today is the first day my wife got back to work after her 2 months maternity leave. So we had been trying to plan or plan to try out different timing that will suit little Clement.

This morning was a wonderful event that Clement actually woke up at 6 and had been playing since then. So we r so happy and get him to complete some of his task :) of course the major one poo poo :) ( doing his big business) oh did I mention before, Clement now sort of potty trained! We r so proud of him. This morning he wait till we bring him the potty and he get his business done there. Nothing on his diaper!
After the big business, I got to have some personal time with him while mummy get to shower. Since it was all mine time, I read to him as well as the daily devotion from the journey. Sometimes by looking at his reaction really make u want to freeze the moment! A father n son moment so blessed and so peaceful.
By the time we r done mummy is ready so it is time for Clement to bath. Daddy n son continue our talking in the toilet and I bath him. Today he is very coperative and he love his bathing time and played in the water. Maybe during weekend will teach him some swimming technic :)
So after his bathing time, is my turn to go shower. While I shower mummy feed little Clement :) all perfect timing! Thank God for that!!

By the time we left home it was around 755am which took us around 20 mins to reach office perfect!

Immunization profile

Since my last post got some question about the Malaysia immunization profile? Maybe some do have question. But I would say we got the immunization from government clinic free of charge and it was approved by WHO on all the vaccine that we took.
I would say the country medical benefit still not bad and for extra we went to certified hospital to took the vaccine. Of course goverment vaccine may cause fever as they r not improved version that compare to private hospital which u pay a bomb and of course in return u dun really get fever.

Experience on immunisation

Had been delay in posting the project365 as well as updating my blog. It was a busy and hetic as well as challenging weekend we had. On Jan 14 Clement had his first immunization jab since he was born. I believe that time he was not sure what was pain and maybe the birth canal was more stressful than the tiny ant bite pain. He got his vitamin K1 jab when he was born and later follow by BCG and hepatitis B jab.
So we decided to go for the govt clinic for the following jab: hepatitis B (2), DPT, hib, OPV. And we also top up Rotavirus and Pnumococcal at Adventist hospital. So our poor boy got both his leg being jabbed :( our reasoning was if he is going to suffer just suffer once. As the result in the morning we bring Clement to the nearby govt cilinic and queue for his turn and really it was a small desa clinic but inside was packed with people! It took us more than 2 hrs to get to our turn to get the jab. To cut the story short, the nurse there was directing chiang Mei wat to do and when they heard that we are bring Clement for another location for the jab, they was worried and event repeat to us what injection we were giving Clement as well ask us to clarified with the dr if they r the same immunization. The nurse there was not aware of rotavirus as well as pneumococcal, so they even call us after 30 to check on what were the injection we r giving Clement at the private hospital. Not bad I say for them for the followup as well worry for the baby to be overdose :) thumbs up for them. :)
On the other hand Adventist was not bad too, during the first month, they did remind me with SMS on my boy immunization schedule and it continue for 2nd month. So I won't forget or miss out. At least I double check with my beloved wife as well as our drs appointment on the jab :)
Oh did I mention, he love to take nice rotavirus! I wonder how was the taste :) dr was feeding him and he was hapily smiling at the dr taking it bit by bit. It must be good taste
After the injection, bb Clement seem to hv some reaction toward the injection. He start to hv mild fever. We did give him the medication at first he take most of it at the hospital, but somehow, he seem learn a new technic of spit them out :) so the second time when we fed him with d med. He spit them all out. He also know the way to keep it at his throat and then only spit them out when u feed him with water cool right? :) as we run out of idea, last resort make him cry and he will take some of the med :) that's how he manage to drink some of d med :) the fever lasted more than 48 hrs, which quite worried us but on the 2nd day he resume his activeness of communicating with his friend and on the 3rd day he resume his appitite :) so far highest temperature we recorded was 38 degree. Was a good experience and seeing how we m the baby cope.

Wow, did you realized that today. Already mid of the month! So fast that the Christmas greeting and new year greeting still so fresh in my mind and we r mid way through the month. And now is the time mall decorated to Chinese new year theme. Some might thought it is a bit early but hey don't we also decorate the house right after thanksgiving dinner right? So it is almost another month till Chinese new year and alot of sales had start to maximize the profit.

Today 13/01/2010 got this wonderful promotion from Kenny Roger. If you wear RED and u purchase their quater chicken set got free quatrer chicken set as well sort of like buy one free one I think I got the promo right :)
So as alot of Penangites our friend or I should say ALOT OF my Friends did wear red today or to work too :) some called to d restaurant to check on the status and by the time 11.30am ppl start pilling up at most of the KR outlet :) for Penang I believe airport, queensbay and bj today must be alot of red t-shirt ppl.

To join in the fun with my friend I join those who wear red (since there gonna be free 1 set anyway) so when we arrived at queensbay, the restaurant were packed with ppl and the queue was sooooooooooooooooooooo long. By looking at that u know u not going to get ur lunch any time soon. :)
I would say this is a perfect marketing ads and also it work! Free advertise and it does boost the economy. It not just served one restaurant but it help the entire mall restaurant. Those ppl that arrive early and still can't get in will just eat at other restaurant such as McD, Sakae Sushi, Nandos, Taiwan Bulls, Oldtown, even Jusco foodcourt. U see alot of RED ppl in queensbay and they r suppose to eat at Kenny Roger :) but they r at others restaurant!! Oh yeah there r some shy ppl wear a jacket to cover the red too :)

I had a bad fever over the weekend as the result no updates as well as no photo updates only pic I had in my mind was water and sleep. My temperature went up to 38.7 C and I had to choice but to take panadol to ease it off. By morning it came back. So I decided to visit the dr on Sunday afternoon but during that period, the temperature went down and dr said I'm ok. So he just gave me panadol too and ask me to take it every 6 hrs n rest.
So back home I'm now but I think my bottom start reacting. Fever on and off bottom tap seem to open. I got to run to toilet for almost ever 30mins. So is this detox? Hahha if it is good I can even go below 70 kg!! Yay bad part was my bottom will suffer hahahahha so hope and pray hard that they will recover.

No plastic beg dayS

To response to Green enviroment Penang govt had declare Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to be no plastic beg day! Good :) this means those ppl that hold on to buy grocery for one day in the past(which is Monday ) now had to either hold on for another few days or just bring their recycle beg and shop :) this does force the use of recycle beg as many ppl does have it but seldom use it due to it is bulky to carry n to some lady it might look ugly when they carry it empty :)
To me I think it is a right and good move for the govt and even best if everyone in Penang can give their full respond. Or maybe just introduce paperbeg a 100% recycleable material and it does the job of carrying beg. Since many ppl dun bring their recycle big plastic beg so maybe a paperbeg will help.
I think Penang can be a much better place and of course the sea will hv less plastic begs and it will be cleaner. And with cleaner sea, comes with cleaner seafood!!!

Memories

As we search through our photo album we found alot of long lost memories. Some lead to happy memories some lead to sad one but often those photos take us back time and we sort of live again in that moment of time. Isn't that great what a photo can capture? moment of time and all the detail are being captured in a single picture.
For me I hv this interest in photography. I love to capture moment and bring out the best in each picture I took, be it the candid shots or the million dollar shots it is precious for every click I press. I started with flim compact camera a Olympus myu that follow throughout my primary and secondary school as I got into college, I upgrade to canon powershot A97 and as I graduated I use Panasonic Lumix FX8....and I had been wanting to get a dSLR and had been learning and also practicing with my old camera (powershot) on d manual setting as well as the other option that was avaliable. And thank God for my wife, she got me a dSLR that open up a new horizon in photography.
And with that I hope to make full use of the equipment to take beautiful pictures as well as capturing moments of life. I also would like to take yours if given opportunity of course I'm only avaliable over the weekend and at the minimum charges. Hope u will enjoy the memories that I capture for you.

Over the weekends we learn abt who we follow in our life. Either we follow someone or we follow ourselves. What an interesting fact isn't it. For example fashion we look at which model dress up nice and we follow how they dress or any celebrity that dress up nicely we do follow their dress or their hair style or even what car or house they hv. Isn't Tat true? We follow someone becoz we think he/she can be trusted or they hv a sense of taste that we sort of think acceptable by alot of people and there r many more reason for a person to follow someone. The question is that someone that we follow is it trustworthy? Is he 100% won't go wrong? Will his action stumble you if he suddenly did something wrong? A person like Tiger woods was a big fan for alot of ppl but after his incident, do u think that he still got alot of fans that follow him like before? I'm not against his golf skill, I also wish I can play like him or swing d golf club like him but his personal life I just can't accept it.
It can also be things we want to achieve like those people, those professional photographer or billionaires like bill gates we also want to hv what they hv or do what they do. But sometimes we just want to experience it from the basic and start it all up an u learn. At least u know why u are following. If we choose to follow someone must well choose that one person that won't go wrong. So who is that one person u know that won't go wrong? Following that one person meaning u wholeheartedly follow a loyal fan of that someone, u do wat he do u follow his action u look upon him, respect him, be his disciple.

First time at church

Today is the first week of the year also Clement first appearence in church :)
Let's start from the begining... Both daddy n mummy were late in the morning and because of that, we try to rush through in getting baby Clement to drink his milk, poo poo, bath and get dress up. By the time he is ready, daddy n mummy need to bath, have their breakfast and pack Clement stuff only off we go to church. By the time we reach, it was around 10.30am slightly late (30mins late) thank god for mr tim that give up his seat for us ( thank u uncle tim)

The good part was Clement sleep through the worship session and only start to wake up during his feeding time. After d service he gave his first poo in church! :) of course in his diaper :)
After church, we went for our meetup with Ida n Selwyn. This was also the first time Clement met Esrene. And of course meeting Caris and Shanna awake :) also meet alot of other Aunties and uncles such as tim n Audrey, mark n Julia, Jimmy n Michele, alex Kee, Jess, Joni, Kevin Gooi n Mei jien, Andrew Geh.
It was a fun sight at the restaurant seeing all d kids together and d adult did some catch up as some had been long missing in action such as my wife hahah anyway i'm glad we all had attended this lunch gathering as we both really enjoyed and Clement too adapt well with all the aunties and uncles.

My parents in law came to Penang last night for a weekend to send my sister in law back to her school, and to help her clean up her room at Institute Perguruan Darulaman hostel.

Clement had been behaving for the past few days since he went out with us during his mommy bday. So we r quite confident now in bring Clement to d mall but minus d crowd.

Today, we went out to meet Alan and Imelda together with their bb Jareth. So we bring along Clement as both of them are apart for 33 days.

Clement was reacting usual when he arrive the mall, sleeping. And once he was awake, u just like the lights in the mall from his viewing angle, he continue to see the light moving, it must be a fun sight from his little brain.
After d meet up, we just walk around until the crowd star pouring in to the mall. Nice experience for Clement.
After a long day out, d bb sleep well at his cot.

Farewell 2009

So.. it is down to the last 2 days of 2009... it is time to look back and make a new resolution for 2010...

I'm not really good at tracking events and things.. but I will try my best...
Lets see... 2009..
Jan... Got back from Shanghai trip and had been bz with work.. then come Chinese New Year.. where I think it is our official first time giving Ang Pow ahahah :) but I think they are fun...(we did run away from that last year after our wedding and having our honeymoon at an Island called Sipadan)

Feb... Chiang Mei and I wedding anniversary and we did had our nice retreat at Pangkor Laut ...you can read our experience here I would not mind going back there again... it is really nice recharge on our energy...and of course Clement was conceived in this month :)

Mar... Baby Shanna was borned...Baby 1 Tim 0 :) i still remember that when he mention to me... and alot of "White Flags" hanging at the balcony...This blog also officially support 60mins Earth Hour...Ah... March also a month where Agilent announce the cut of 2700 ppl from their operation.. a so call stressful month for alot of people as well as I changed boss..

Apr... Baby Esrene was borned!!... then Easter

May....we announce our coming new member :) of course we did a small celebration at The View at equatorial hotel. Check them out here

Jun....We had an upclose and personal experience with our Penang CM Lim Guan Eng at Daorae penang... a Korean food restaurant. Check it out here
Also not forgetting my lovely Wife did got my this nice gift that I had been wanting for a very very very very... long time :) a DSLR :) She got my a Canon 500D ! then onwards... it is a revolution in my photography skill :) some nice picture are posted here.

Jul... inspite of H1N1 around the region... we still flew down to Singapore to visit my sister as well as had our vacation at Singapore for few days.. Thanks to my 2nd sister for hosting us :) of course we did hv our nice Chili Crab! :) Oh also found out this Free Online Printing.... (promotion)

Aug... I canceled our trip to Melbourne :( sob sob.. but it was the right decision at the right time... I was down with commonflu...sort of serious as i was on the bed isolated from my pregnant wife that time. As for the air ticket, too bad AirAsia doesn't really care if u are H1N1 or not, there are no refund :(... And as an alternative, we went for Cuti-cuti Malaysia :) to Genting Highland as well as Cameron Highland it was a nice Babymoon for both of us

Sept... ah a nice month where it is MY B'day!! :) and of course also the month that closer to the due date of bb Clement to see the world. We start buying as well as collecting the baby needs.... and Sugarrattle was created in Sept as well! :) visit them here

Oct...Nothing much happen in Oct.. but on top of some pass down from my sisters... we also received gifts from Siew Min and Edwin Hoh...

Nov... the final countdown to days for Clement to meet the world... just days before the due date, we still go to mainland (Bagan Lalang) to eat and visit Gaik Ling.. it was fun a so call last outing before the delivery... and in the begining of 14th of Nov, Baby Clement make his entrance to the world...

Dec... Christmas... and Wife's b'day.. our first 3 in a family together makan outside of the house, a fun and exciting experience for us as a parent... :)

Looking forward for a fun and exciting 2010 !
Ready or not.... 2010 still will come in 48 hrs time... Lets just make a new year resolution and stay with that! :)

Experience at Hope Children

I just don't really understand... Maybe it is me not yet feel it or maybe it is suppose to be like that. There is this couple with 2 young boys. Maybe 1 abt 6 yrs old another younger brother abt 4 both were there playing on the toys that provided by the hospital. They were having alot of fun, given no other children were around the aggressiveness was ok. Later when there r new patient came to d clinic the 2 young boys still at their peak running here n there in the trolley and hitting the furniture.
Now I was there wondering is it me, or something is not right as the father was standing there doing nothing at all. Not even asking his sons to slow down or behave n becareful. A few time I saw d kids nearly bang on d girl that was sitting on d chair at the other end of the room. For me I just want my son to behave. He can roam freely but of course need some self control.
Next was medication time. The kids suppose to take their medicine, the elder one suppose to take 3 kind of medicine and he was like running around. His mom was asking help from the dad but unfortunately it seem like the dad hv no power at all. So first drop, the elder brother was walking away even his dad ask him to stop and go to drink his son give him tat look and dun really give a shit to him. Then d mom got to use the nurse or kakak to threaten for him to drink it. Wow mother n father dun even hv the power to control the kids. What is this world.
The last one was the best, mummy ask d father to bring the elder son over to take his last medicine, his respond was I don't want. Then the dad got to play hide n seek all over d clinic. And the dad was like come here Bryan come.... And Bryan was happily play with his daddy!!! The daddy did nothing but go round circle with him. In the end, the dr came out and said: Bryan if u don't want to drink, I'll give u injection. Bryan was so scared of that and scream NO!!! And crying while walk over to his mother n take the medicine. So interesting isn't it?
I still think parent should hold responsibility for what had happen. Don't u thik so?

Fullmoon

This is fun! I'm able to blog on the go with this application that I had just installed on my phone.

So Clement reaches 1 month old and we r glad that throughout this one month nothing major happen to him. Both d mummy n daddy are able to hv most of the rest and bb Clement r on full breastmilk. Thank God that mummy able to produce ALOT of milk ( like a milk production factory :) ) and the best thing that God created women was they r able to respond to the bb cry! Once bb cry the milk start to flow! So bb Clement up to date without fail always got to hv full stomach and of course with alot of love from d family as well. All the grandparents, aunties, uncles as well as friends. We thank them for their wonderful gifts, angpows, well wishes, their guidance as well as supports! Thank you!

Well as most of the babies does during their full moon, their hair being shaved. Bb clement also got his, but not on d exact day but few days after :) I think he must be glad that he lost his bb hair n now with new grown hair. He looks adorable and funny in some sense ;) now he can use his nice hat/cap, previously it was too hot for him.

Once people did warn me about changing diaper... they said try to have apron or have a full face helmet to prevent any flying objects or liquid ! :)

Ok...for the past 3 weeks everything was fine... so I took the advise lightly and didn't put on full alert... and during one of the afternoon... when I change Clement diaper...... and he was on his alert time... where he open up his eyes and play with his Peacock... and also having alot of facial expression....(which was his usual Poo Poo expression)and I was like... oh.. time to change diaper... and did some Poo Poo sound.. and alot of deposite came out :) so.... I was like Ok... Clement... anymore? .... he give me a cute smile... and my respond was ok set... change diaper! :) Without 2nd thought... i open up his Mammy Poko diaper... and wow.. alot... so i start cleaning his butt as well as wash through those "stick on" and lifting up his butt....(a wrong move) by the time that was almost done.. little Clement fart.... and a liquid cannon shoot out.... the projectile seem to be a straight line! and with my fast respond.. I manage to avoild my face and body.. but my arm and pants got the damage..... hahahah :)

ok... not that bad la..right?.... :)

Time flies... it had been 3weeks ++ since Clement was born... he was 3.15kg and now 4.2kg in 21 days... for sure he got enough sleep, milk and fun of course... :) As for a daddy... it is.... THE SAME!! :) hahahah yes... I do have enough sleep and I do have enough rest...except 1 or 2 nights of waking up to change diapers as well as carrying Clement to calm him down when he got his nightmare....(interesting that a 21days old bb got nightmare, must be the birth canal that he still got the nightmare :P....

So .. soon he will be full 1 month... and according to Chinese custom, when a baby turns one month old, a ceremony is held to celebrate the first full moon. This conincides with the end of the mother's confiment period (yippie for CM) and both mother and baby will be formally introduced to the extended family or friends for the first time (for baby). So they also have party and the baby go through some customaries and then the relative and friends will give their blessing and gifts to the new baby. Of course not to forget Ang Ku Kueh and red eggs will be served...

Ang Ku Kueh is a glutinous peanut cake dyed with approved red coloring. and for a baby boy, usually a plain round ang ku will be given out. If you got a girl, a tortoise mould ang ku will be given...

Red Eggs is usually given due to the dyed red symbolise luck and blessing and eggs are represent fertility and the round shapes symbolise harmony... so if a baby boy will give out odd number of eggs and for baby girl will be even numbers...

During the baby 1st month, they also have their first hair cut... this is to symbolise the shedding of the birth hair and some tradition said that mother and the baby need to bathe in water mixed with pomelo leaves to wash away the unwated and evil vibes.

Wow.... there are many more "tradition" that need to follow... or.. lets just keep it simple :) we will do what we can and within our reach... I believe it is a celebration of life and a celebration of best gift from God. Every little steps that the baby took from now onwards are a major steps for him... and lets just continue to help and protect him and with or without the special event.. the baby still a joyful baby :)

Ah.. another end of the year....
I always love December... maybe it is because it is the end of the year or maybe it is the months where the temperature is not that hot.... or maybe it is a season of celebrations... from christmas to new year and alot of holidays....or maybe when young, it was the school holiday season where you no need to wake up early to go to school and u can lazy at home doing nothing.... or maybe it is the months where everyone was free and can get together or go out to meet some friends.... or maybe it is the time where all the shopping mall or houses decorate into a nice Green, Red and White and of course with alot of Neon / LED lights that lighted the entire atmosphere...

I always love December... when I was in the states... December always a nice month for me although the 7 feet snows was a bit too much... but I love the quietness where everything is white and you are the only person that make a footprint across the field...

Life can have many many little things that make up for a big things... often time we focus on the big ones that we miss out the small and in the end, we miss out everything... December is a short months (given got 31 days) given alot of activities that is gonna happen in December... that gives a very short time for urself as well as for family...

Just in case I didn't get to see you .... Have a wonderful year ahead.. :) and Merry Christmas.. :) (sorry a bit early greeting)

A weekend before CM deliver... we actually went out to visit Gaik Ling...and of course we as in Sean, Sachi, Dhillion, Janet, Edwin, Joy, CM and I... it was like a last min plan that we just go and enjoy our lunch at the mainland that serve "Spring Chicken" and huge fish head... of course with some other nice dishes that together with it... Oh forgot to say...the shop name is Ong Cheng Huat..

This is a over due post... last few weeks my dad actually celebrate his b'day... so we got him a surprise! :) instead of traditional going out for a nice dinner... we actually had it in the house.. all home cook food.. :)

Count Down

Ok... the final 10 days from the due date... my Jr to be in this world...
Wow... it was like months ago.. we couting on how many months more till the due date.... then it was like weeks...and now counting down on days till he is here.... sooner it will be hours and seconds.. :)

Every visit to thr Dr clinic check up brings us some prayer items back home for us to pray about it... interesting... it started when we pray that the yoke sac can be seen and not ethiopic pregnancy.. then after the prayer we did notice the yoke sac and then we start to pray for firm implantation and also the placenta to be at the correct position..... and then... we pray for no down syndrome during the 15weeks checkup... and then we pray for healthy baby with proper function of all organs during his 20th week full checkup... then we pray for the "mickey mouse" at the umblilical cord so that it is a proper arteri and veins for bloodflow to the baby... and ... and and.... many more...

But the recent one was a miracle... during the the 37th weeks visit, the dr actually suspect that there are 2 round of umbilical cord rounding the bb's neck and we ask if there are any ways the bb can untangle off.. dr responded no.. will keep on monitoring to make sure the bb is ok.. else will go for c-sec ....so we were like praying over during the 1 week and on the recent checkup Dr said the cord wasn't there anymore! Praise theLord! it is really an miracle! So now... my wife and Jr are all set throughout the 38th weeks... and 2 more weeks or 10 more days to go...now pray for smooth delivery and easy labour :)

Counting Down

looking at the dates.. it is another few more weeks till the official change of status... :) alot of people continue to ask if I am excited or am I ready...

I wonder how to answer them....Excited?.. yeah i am excited... every other day I woke up is another day closer to become a daddy... well ya i'm excited.. :)
so am I ready?..well... no matter I am or I am not, he is coming out :) so... for sure I must be ready :)

hahahah for everything that I do.. it is part of life...part of the growing up process that ones that get to experience and get it through...
the fun part... u get to experience it first hand :)

To top up the experience... u get to learn how the heavenly Father react when we as His children do :)

so all in all... it is for the good over everything.

I had installed Picasa 3 and quite fun using this software to do some "minor" editing on the photo i took... hmmm not bad... quite easy to use and very fast... but this is not for hardcore editing :) they come with limited editing tools.. :)

yeap... today is the new 365days for me :) I wonder what had been prepared for me....
looking back for the past 30 yrs... wow... it seem yesterday that I was still primary school... highschool... college... and Uni... all seem so fast yet it was a great 30 yrs ago.

some of my friends said it is a quater of my life had being used... some said 1/3 of my age... for some half of it.. or like Yeoh Theng Hooi said, half leg in the coffin :)

As for me... no matter what others said, as long as live the life to the fullest and never regret each and every day that had past... make it count. As life never come back and as every second that tics, it had been used.. no matter how you use it, it still just pass by without you even grabbing it.

So look around, decide which that second you want to spend the most with. And go with it. yesterday cannot be change and tomorrow is another day, focus on now. Our life is ever changing... what is constant is God. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He will always be there. His promise are always same to you(me).

Since our original Melbourne Trip were unfortunately canceled..we took an alternative of Cuti- Cuti Malaysia :) We both wanted to go somewhere cooling and of course if possible less people so we can enjoy the coolness and also spend some time together as our vacation before the baby come out.... Also spend sometime focusing on God for our new family member's name.

We choosen Genting and Cameron Highlands! For this post will just focus on Genting.

My last visit to Genting was in 1999 (i think) I spend less than 12 hrs there. Be there just to check in, then the place (one of the apartment) was slightly a bit spooky and I just decide not to stay there... from then onwards, never really go up to Genting until 2009 Aug... wow.... 10 yrs apart... Genting had change ALOT... and good that they had less development now and focus alot on the internal ready building and develop the themepark (both outdoor and indoor) they also have alot of shopping outlet. For those who keen for shopping or just for the themepark.. not a bad place to be... the only draw back was the smoke.

As most of you know, Genting is the one and only Casino in Malaysia, and if you notice, most of the gambler smoke.... so.. although the place there got ALOT of NO SMOKING sign, but there are no reinforcement on that. Especially if you walk close to the entrance of the casino, you will smell the cigarette smoke... I dare not go into the casino as i worry i might faint inside :) I wonder if Genting will implement "non-smoking" area for those non smoking gambler :)

Food at Genting seem ok.. not that bad.. price ...EXPENSIVE...almost double the price you can get at normal shop around. BUT if you do have the coupon to dine at their hotel restaurant, it seem reasonable :) We did dine at the hotel restaurant.. and both CM and I are happy couple there :)

Oh did I mention about the normal fish porridge cost RM8.90 per bowl?

Overall we did enjoy our stay over there... don't mind taking my boy there when he is ready for the adventure :) (if given it is another cuti-cuti Malaysia, else maybe will consider Singapore Themepark as I believe it will be more fun over there )

It had been a while since I last update my blog... yeah both Adventure Through Life.. and here The Parenthood... this is due to I was down with common flu!... Our Long Vacation...

Over the last few days both CM and I flew down south to Singapore! and we actually really enjoyed our stay at my sister place. We really enjoy their hospitality and also the fun of being a boy parent :)

Will post up some of the event we did there later... but before that... we had a really nice chili crab and ALOT of crab! :)

Its a.....

Week 20.. we had our monthly checkup for our baby... and this round the Dr had said in our last visit that this time will be a detail scan... the Dr actually told us to go in early...normal time around 4pm but this sunday we visited Dr at 12noon... (i wonder if the Dr need to eat lunch or not :) )

Anyway... ok... because of the nature of being a parent ( or a father) we did bring along our videocamera... to record down the baby movement... previously we did have a few video clip on the baby heart beat as well as some regular scan picture...

So when we arrive in the dr's clinic... first thing we did was going through Chaing Mei's last blood test result.. everything seem normal.. :) Praise God for that.... next is the time for viewing the baby :)

So after chiang mei prepared, the dr start his job :) first thing he check... eh.. ur baby actually facing down.... then... the Dr said... It is a Boy.. confirmed.... (the reason dr said "confirmed" because last check up the baby actually have alot of movement.. and we did saw the "critical part" but not really sure, Dr also said a boy at that time :P so now confirmed )

then the Dr go check on the baby brain...the heart... as well the kidney... the toes.. and the fingers... the dr actually said our baby close up his face with his hand... so.. can't really see the face... seem like the baby are shy to show us how he looks like :P hahahah

anyway... there was one moment that he did open up... (maybe it is to peep and see if we are still watching him .. :P ) and dr manage to capture that moment to see if the facial bone are properly joint. Everything seem OK :)
Thank God for that as well ! :)

The baby actually 20weeks and 5 days... and he is now ~350grams
So now, we got to start to think of a name for this baby boy :) Any suggestion?

Finally... I had been waiting for.... my wife and I had decided to watch it! hahahah we got tickets for the 6pm on their first day of showing to the public :)

I saw the preview it was great.... really looking forward for tonight movie... countdown on the hours till 6pm!!! :)

Life is a miracle (part 1)

Then our first visit to the O&G... it was a wonderful experience... but something happen...read it through here...

At week 7- week 9 here is what we saw :)

average we visited the Dr every 1 months... and our next visit was during week 12++ check it out here... :)

So...... next want to take a guess if the baby is a Boy or a Girl?
If you have interesting name for the baby.. please do let me know :) hahahah
I'm looking forward to play with the baby... :) got so many things I want to teach and so many events to do with the baby.... :)

Guard Children's Spiritual Growth

In today Purpose Driven Life daily devotional Rick Warren talks about guarding your children's spiritual growth....
In bible, I quote: " Nurture, guard, and guide the flock of God that is your responsibility... Not domineering as arrogant, dictatorial and overbearing persons... but being examples, patterns, and models of Christian living" (1 Peter 5:2-3 AMP) That actually in the context of Jesus protected the disciples' spirits...

So from disciples, what does that mean for the children? It is we as father to our children should protect their dignity, their self-esteem, and their spirit... You realize the power of our words - that our words can heal or hurt! We say, "sticks and stones may break my bones but names can never hurt me." It sound right don't it? But it is wrong as Names hurt the children more than sticks and stones. As a child can break a leg or arm and it will heal, but some wound that cause by the words of their father will still not heal up till the grown up. Example, some parents always said this to their child, "You're never going to amount to anything" This cause the child to continue to prove the parent wrong and they are still reacting to life instead of acting towards it.

As a father, we must always understand the power of our words. It does make a huge difference in healing or hurting the child. A dad can crush his daughter with one sentence; or he can build up his daughter. the same it goes with sons. John Eldridge, in his book, Wild at Heart, says "most men go through life reacting to what I often called 'the father wound.' Every boy as he grows up, want to have his manhood affirmed and the most important person to affirm is his dad". If he doesn't get it there, he tries to get his manhood affirmed in dozens of other ways. He basically live his entire lifetrying to compensate for something his dad never said. Just like a simple You're Okay, son or You're a man, or You're right... some simple affirmation or agreement can make a huge difference.

It is really serious on how we speak to our children... any words that we choose suppose to think first. In Jewish society, the father actually created a way of exploring creative thinking for their children. How they teach their child through very creative way... will blog about that in another post... but overall the whole idea is Break the Will but not breaking the spirit...

Thats what a parent should do... choose and protect the children spiritual growth.

MY New Toy

I had surveyed this for over a year.... most of that time were looking into a few model that provide a good and within my budget...of cause practically need to fit into my wallet... :)

*Forgot to mention, my wife actually bought this toy for me!!! :) As a present :)

First experience upon opening the box... nice... :)

It is a Canon EOS 500D! or in other region called Digital Rebel T1i

Up Close and Personal

yeah I know.. last week just had Korean food... and this friday went for it again... :) This round had it with my wife and also2 other colleague.

While we were starting our meal a person walk in sitting next to our table....

We were like, hey isn't this our Penang CM Lim Guan Eng?

He was like hi, hello... waved his hand then sit down to the table next to ours...he is quite casual..no bodyguard... no police around the building... very friendly too....

My wife was like.. hey lets go over and talk to him take photo with him... and I was like... why go n kacau ppl's lunch time... but in the end..... I got this... :)

Daorae Penang Experience

hahha.. on one of the weekday lunchtime, went out with my colleague for Korean food... Check out the new restaurant in town...

5 of use dine there and the damage is RM170++

The enviroment = Good
The Service = Good, they actually serve you
The food = Good

Lets go into the pictures..

They have their personalized utensil!

Their suction seem to be working fine.. but you can't get 100% of the smell off your dress :)

These are our side dish :) and u can refill if you really like them alot :)

Our first dish.. BBQ beef... looks nice and it taste really nice :)

But it was burn and the chef actually scolded the waiter and changed a new beef for us!!! what a waste! it is just one side slightly burned! but again.. the chef actually told us that burned meat not good for health... so he took away the beef.

Our Pork... (it is a non-halal place!)

We also ordered some other non-BBQ dishes... nice!

Overall it is a good experience :)

It is already June

Ah it is June....and already half of the year had past.... so for those who had made their new year resolution... had you manage to accomplish half of them? If no, better catch up! :)

And for me... seem like I have a pile of analog tapes that I need to clear.. and I believe the video in the tapes were very precious :) like some people's wedding...someone's honeymoon and also Fon Ho's Isreal trip :P some overdue for soooooooooo long.... deepest appologise... this long weekend going to clear off... and provide you all a nice DVD... (i cross my finger and pray hard i can complete them...)

As for resolution... seem I didn't set any... but just wanted to live a healthy life :)
Work wise... it is consider 2nd half of the financial year.. and alot to catch on the orders :)
