First time at church

Today is the first week of the year also Clement first appearence in church :)
Let's start from the begining... Both daddy n mummy were late in the morning and because of that, we try to rush through in getting baby Clement to drink his milk, poo poo, bath and get dress up. By the time he is ready, daddy n mummy need to bath, have their breakfast and pack Clement stuff only off we go to church. By the time we reach, it was around 10.30am slightly late (30mins late) thank god for mr tim that give up his seat for us ( thank u uncle tim)

The good part was Clement sleep through the worship session and only start to wake up during his feeding time. After d service he gave his first poo in church! :) of course in his diaper :)
After church, we went for our meetup with Ida n Selwyn. This was also the first time Clement met Esrene. And of course meeting Caris and Shanna awake :) also meet alot of other Aunties and uncles such as tim n Audrey, mark n Julia, Jimmy n Michele, alex Kee, Jess, Joni, Kevin Gooi n Mei jien, Andrew Geh.
It was a fun sight at the restaurant seeing all d kids together and d adult did some catch up as some had been long missing in action such as my wife hahah anyway i'm glad we all had attended this lunch gathering as we both really enjoyed and Clement too adapt well with all the aunties and uncles.
Uncle Jimmy having his fun carrying Esrene :)

Are we too Complacent?

I wanted to ask this for a very long time :) but keep forgeting...
Today since I go through some of my photos.. I found this photos...
It really let me to stop everything I was doing and start thinking..

Disclaimer: The below is not Judging anyone nor pointing finger... but just a ponder of thought.

First ask yourself the below
you willing to wake up early to get to church?
you willing to spend more time to read bible?
you willing to go extra miles for people you don't know?
you willing to ....
you willing to ....

hmm... the wake up early part is what i want to talk about... when the church start at 10.30am some consider it early.. especially during Sunday, so, some people might come on Saturday night service so Sunday they don't need to wake up that early. :) of course maybe our society have alot of churches around so it is not that packed. But places that there are very few churches, they have different service session. it ranges from early morning till evening..

So are we really too complacent?
The church in Shaghai start from 6am !! and Some churches in Indonesia start at 7am! so 10.30am is normal... do come early to meet with God :) I wonder, if God put down this law: If you come early to meet with me, I will bless you, for sure everyone will come early :)

Check out the below picture!

If you did see it, the Children session start at 4.30AM!!! I hope it is a typing/ printing error! but it was left on the gate of this Cathedral! and i gues it is really 4.30am! (actually, the chinese version said 4.30pm ;) )

So people..... any comment? Just try waking up at 6am and not asking you to go to church but just waking up :)

Agape Home Day 15...

Today I was given a task to take the footage of Agape Family Home.
It is a "family-like" enviroment for abandoned , neglected and abused children and also for orphans.

Both Gabe and I we were given this task to capture the Agape Family Home as our Church (PCC) had been sponsoring this home for the past 15 years! For me, it was my first time step into this home. Previously I was a volunteer at Eden Handicap as their tution teacher... but that was long long time ago....
Today was different... personally I was touched and by the work that Ps Micah had done there.

The Agape Family Home is a all boys home... I did manage to talk to a few of them and also able to get to know their background... as you heard about their life stories, I almost cried.. (of course I didn't infront of them) was holding my tears especially recording infront of them... you know la... those kids don't need your sympathy....there were all from different parts of Malaysia..some from KL...Cameron Highland... Kuantan... for few things in common.. they come with a heavy burden...
Alot of them were rejected as well as neglected by the soceity... but this Agape Home did not... and by talking with them you know alot of them had changed... they are very interesting young kids... and of course they are very fit :) they also cook very well :) we did had lunch with them and the food was great... it was cooked by a boy called Nic. cool kid where he is just 17 years old...

We had capture a total of 2 hours of footage... will get our editor to compose it will share it here once the clips are ready...
